Affordable Houses to Own (‘AHTO’) was founded in 2020. Our primary aim is to provide buyers, Local Authorities and Housing Associations in England and Wales with an option far superior to the existing affordable home initiatives currently prevalent in the market. AHTO promotes Intermediate Rent-to-Buy (“IRTB”) because it allows tenants to transition to full home ownership at a demonstrably lower cost than does rent to buy. We are committed to creating thriving communities, and have created a home ownership model that seeks to address the chronic supply of affordable homes in England and Wales.
Having secured significant funding, we are now actively acquiring high-quality affordable homes from large national housebuilders, as well as development land. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly, either through the website or email@example.com.
Lifecycle of Intermediate Rent-to-Buy
AHTO pride ourselves on our flexibility, our enthusiasm for engaging proactively with all stakeholders and our ability to consistently deliver on our promises. As a consequence, we have an extensive network of housebuilders, landowners, investors, Local Authorities and Housing Associations. Please refer to the dedicated pages for more details on our offering and how we can work together, both to increase home ownership, and to have a major positive socio-economic impact on the communities in which we operate.
A typical lifecycle usually comprises of the following:
- s.106 Agreements – Section 106 Agreements
- OMV – Open Market Valuation
- HA – Housing Association
- NPPF – National Planning Policy Framework
- LA – Local Authority
- NHBC – National House-Building Council
- ESG – Environmental, Social, and Governance
- SDG – Sustainable Development Goal
